Technical Illustrations
Engine Illustration
This is an E6 Engine Illustration, originally hand drawn and later digitized by scanning the artwork and redrawing it in CorelDraw. This is a vector image using fountain fills to shade it so it can be sized up and down without any loss of resolution.
F-18 Cockpit Illustration
This is an F-18 Cockpit Illustration, illustrated using CorelDraw software. It was drawn to actual size using engineering specifications and federal standard colours. Actual component hardware was mounted alongside the rendered background and components to simulate the actual aircraft.
F-18 Test Equipment Illustration
This F-18 Test Equipment Illustration was originally hand drawn and later digitized and redrawn in CorelDraw. The original hand drawn version of the Test Set was hand drawn using technical pens and guides, screen printed to the back of lexan panels and hand painted using a unique animation style painting to produce realistic modelling. The panels were then mounted to aluminum boards and actual components drilled in and mounted alongside the artwork components.
CF-18 Aircraft Illustration
This CF-18 Aircraft Illustration was used as digital artwork for marketing material and smart board simulator artwork.
F-18 Aircraft Component Illustration
These F-18 Aircraft Cockpit Component Illustrations were drawn to actual scale and used in Maintenance cockpit simulators to teach maintenance and flight training of the aircraft. The digital artwork was created using CorelDraw and Photoshop software using CAD engineering files imported into the software for accuracy of components.
Assembly Illustration
This chair back assembly illustration was created in CorelDraw. The vector image was used in an assembly guide manual.
Assembly Illustration
This life raft assembly illustration was created in CorelDraw. Reference was using engineering drawings to accurately simulate assembly.
Instruction Illustration
This knitting kit illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator. The final vector image is being used in an instruction guide for a toy manufacturing company.
Assembly Illustration
This life raft and parachute assembly illustration was created in CorelDraw. Reference used to create the illustrations were engineering specs and photographs of the steps to pack and unpack a parachute.
Assembly Illustration
This life raft assembly illustration was created in CorelDraw. Three line weights were used with a thick overall outline, thinner main outline and hairline outline for details.
Assembly Illustration
This life raft assembly illustration was clearly illustrated to simulate packing procedures. Photographs were used for reference and the line art simplified the look of the straps and components.
Product and Assembly Illustration
This chair and table assembly illustration was created for Adobe Illustrator. It was then taken into Photoshop to create the tone effect. These images were used in product price and assembly guides.
Office System Assembly Illustrations
These isometric illustrations were created to fit components and accessories easily. Using this view you could flip from left to right instead of redrawing. This library of parts were easily scaled to any size and reused for parts, price and Installation manuals for office system modules. The final file format was Adobe Illustrator vector files.
